Armitage Group is a supplier and distributor of LED Signs and Sensor technology. Specialising in the delivery of electronic signs and FLIR Automatic incident detection (AVIDS) and sensor technologies for both New Zealand and Australian highways and Tunnels. With the expansion into sensor technology in 2015 specifically around data for traffic and people, Armitage have been able to deliver highly specialised solutions for transport. Competing and winning against some of the largest companies in Australia and being awarded some of the largest infrastructure projects. Solutions delivered, such as pedestrian counting, vehicle classification  as well as specialised thermal imaging for early fire detection in tunnels. Armitage produced the first ISLUS for NSW and pioneered the first IP67 rated Tunnel message sign.

2019

Armitage Group release the new DXF series Arrow Board with a new innovative controller and superior optical performance.

2019

Armitage supply the first Australian Dual thermal camera utilised in extreme light conditions to deliver optimal performance for tunnels and highways.

2017

Armitage Group was awarded the NorthConnex LED sign project for ISLUS and TMS. NorthConnex, a 9km Tunnel will be the longest road tunnel project in Australia.

2017

Armitage is awarded the Automatic Video detection system contract for the NorthConnex tunnel consisting of 400+ AVIDS cameras.

2012

Armitage Group is awarded the first ever ISLUS (Integrated Speed Lane Use Sign) project in NSW, Australia. The Eastern Distributor activated the signs in 2016 to improve safety and traffic flow for Sydney's public.

2011

Armitage Group is established as a family company in 2011 in Australia driven by its sister company in New Zealand established in 1994.
